Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 2026

Our commitment

Celtic AI is committed to making our website and course platform accessible to as many people as possible, including those with visual impairments, hearing difficulties, motor limitations, or cognitive differences. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

What we have done

  • All images include descriptive alt text for screen readers
  • Pages use proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3) for easy navigation
  • Semantic HTML is used throughout — nav, main, section, footer, article
  • All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • A "Skip to main content" link is provided on every page
  • Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG AA standards
  • Form fields have associated labels
  • ARIA labels are used on buttons and links where context is needed
  • Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements
  • The site is compatible with common screen readers including VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows)

Known limitations

We are continuously improving. Known areas we are working on:

  • Audio transcripts for any future video content
  • Enhanced mobile keyboard navigation in the course sidebar

Using assistive technology

Our site is designed to work with:

  • Screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
  • Browser zoom (up to 200% without loss of functionality)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • High contrast mode
