Celtic AI is an Irish business based in Dublin, Ireland. We provide AI education and consulting services to Irish SMEs. We are the data controller for personal data collected through our website (celticai.ie) and course platform (courses.celticai.ie).

We collect the following personal data:
- Account data: name and email address when you register for the course
- Course progress data: which lessons you have completed and quiz results
- Contact form data: name, email, business type, and message when you book a demo
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, and browser type (anonymised, via analytics)
We do not collect payment information, sensitive personal data, or data from persons under 16 years of age.
3. Lawful basis for processing
- Contract: to provide course access and track your progress
- Legitimate interests: to respond to demo enquiries and improve our services
- Consent: for marketing emails (you can withdraw consent at any time)
4. How we use your data
- To provide and manage your course account
- To respond to demo booking requests
- To send course-related updates (not marketing unless you opt in)
- To improve our website and course content
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data with:
- Supabase — our database provider (EU data hosting)
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Analytics provider — anonymised usage data only
All processors are required to handle your data in accordance with GDPR.
6. How long we keep your data
- Account data: for as long as your account is active, or up to 2 years after last login
- Demo enquiry data: 12 months
- Anonymised analytics: up to 26 months

Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
